It is becoming increasingly important to compile and archive any information related to data centers and critical infrastructure projects across our state. West Virginia is facing an unprecedented wave of proposed data center and critical infrastructure developments; and many projects that will fundamentally reshape our water systems, electrical grid, tax structures, rural landscapes, and legislative priorities. Much of this is happening quickly, with limited public visibility, fragmented information, and corporate narratives that prioritize speed over transparency.
We created this as a way for everyone to contribute, and to centralize any important information. The intention of this is to make information easily accessible, digestible, and navigable for West Virginian's who are interested in learning about the proposed data centers and legislation in a factual way.
